A streamlined process that reduces your workload, and fills the position quickly and cost effectively.
1. Job briefing
We’ll start with a detailed discussion with you so we can fully understand your needs. We’ll discuss the technical requirements and finer details of the role, and your organisation’s culture so we can find you a candidate that will not only fit in but thrive.
We’ll keep you informed throughout the recruitment process and offer advice and suggestions along the way.
2. Finding the perfect candidate
Prospective candidates are contacted, interviewed, skill checked, and reference checked.
We use competency-based interviewing, which is an interactive style that encourages candidates to be more natural and open. This style of interviewing involves our consultants using pre-planned questions that provide positive and negative indicators. These indicators help eliminate the risk attached to making an expensive, incorrect hire.
After interviewing, we use a variety of evaluation processes depending on the specific role, including:
- Psychometric Testing to identify a candidate’s suitability and to objectively benchmark them against other candidates
- Office Computer Literacy Skilled Testing to test a candidate’s level of computer literacy
- Numerical Literacy Tests to assess the ability of a candidate to understand basic mathematical concepts and carry out simple calculations
- Literacy Testing using multiple-choice reading and writing questions to demonstrate the level of literacy competency of a candid
- The Manual Dexterity Test to measure a candidate’s ability to perform hand movements in a coordinated manner for assembly and packaging positions
- Mechanical Aptitude/Reasoning Test to measure a technical or engineering candidate’s ability to understand and apply mechanical concepts and principles to solve problems
As part of the vetting process, we also check the more practical elements of a role like the location, hours, and industry suitability so there are no surprises.
3. Placing the perfect candidate
Once we’ve completed the interviews, relevant skills testing and reference checks, we’ll organise for you to meet the top candidates. We’ll brief you on each candidate before the interview, so you have a clear understanding as to why we know they’d be a good fit.
